As an HVAC/R Technician, you will support residential and commercial systems within a small service team. The role follows a mixed workflow, with assignments, service records, and work orders managed through a dispatcher and work-order system. You will diagnose, install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R equipment while communicating effectively with customers and documenting completed service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose HVAC/R system issues across residential and commercial equipment.
- Install HVAC/R equipment and related components.
- Perform preventive maintenance to support reliable system operation.
- Handle refrigerants in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Conduct electrical testing and equipment diagnostics.
- Complete HVAC/R repair services and troubleshoot system problems.
- Maintain accurate service reports and work-order records.
- Communicate service findings and recommendations to customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC/R service and maintenance.
- HVAC/R certificate or diploma.
- Experience with HVAC troubleshooting and refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of electrical diagnostics and HVAC controls.
- Technical documentation skills.
- Solid problem-solving abilities.
