As a Program Enrollment Advisor Advisor, you help make one of the biggest decisions of a students lives. You give honest guidance, help them build a realistic plan to pay for their program, and follow through until they’re doing well in class.
You’re one of the top performers on our admissions team. You consistently meet or exceed enrollment goals, set the standard for ethical recruitment and make the advisors around you better. You also work closely with Marketing, Programs, Student Financial Assistance and Admissions Leadership to improve how we find, enroll and keep students.
What you’ll do
Guide prospective students from first inquiry to first day
- Respond quickly to new inquiries, including those from AI search tools, after-hours channels and automated admissions handoffs. Keep in touch by in person meetings, phone, email, SMS and video until each prospect makes a clear decision.
- Run discovery conversations built around why people actually enroll. Connect each person’s goals to the right program using verified Robertson outcome data and graduate stories.
- Build a realistic full-cost plan with every prospect early on, covering tuition, books, equipment, living costs while studying, loans, grants and employer sponsorship. Work with the Student Finance Admin department e so no student starts without a plan to finish.
- Give clear, accurate answers on schedules, weekly attendance and delivery modes (on campus, hybrid and online) so working adults can confirm the program fits their lives.
- Compare Robertson honestly with college and university options, and address cost or reputation concerns prospects bring from online reviews, forums or AI search results.
- Bring decision influencers (spouses, parents, employers) into the conversation when it helps the prospect decide with confidence.
- Manage high-priority, complex or specialized lead pipelines, and consistently meet or exceed enrollment and conversion targets.
Grow new student pipelines
- Develop and manage employer-sponsored, workforce-retraining and community partner pipelines, including displaced workers, military spouses and reservists.
- Represent Robertson at information sessions, recruitment events, and community and employer partner events.
Raise the bar for the team
- All advisors are expected to participate in call shadowing, role-play,
objection-handling practice and onboarding support for new hires.
- Share what works (talk tracks, outreach sequences, funding conversations) and help build a team culture that’s both competitive and collaborative.
Recruit with integrity
- Serve as the team’s subject matter expert on admission requirements, mature student assessments and English language proficiency standards.
- Make sure every enrollment fully complies with institutional policy, provincial regulations and accreditation standards, and never enroll a student in a program that isn’t right for them.
- Only make outcome and program claims that students can verify, using approved Robertson data. Never present generic or sector-wide figures as Robertson’s own.
- Lead pre-start audits of student files and correct documentation gaps before institutional or regulatory audits.
Keep the students you recruit
- Stay connected with enrolled students through their start date and first 45 days, using structured touchpoints to reduce no-shows and early withdrawals.
- For healthcare and ECE programs, set clear expectations at enrollment about practicum requirements, documentation, professionalism and scheduling. Flag at-risk students early to placement coordinators.
- Coordinate smooth handovers to Student Finance Administrator and the Learner Experience Guide , and resolve problems that could derail a current student.
Use data to improve results
- Track your full funnel (lead to contact, contact to interview, interview to start, start to Day 45) to find where prospects drop off and fix it.
- Keep Salesforce accurate and current so forecasts and reports are reliable.
- Each month, log the top questions and objections prospects raise so Marketing and Programs can fill information gaps on program pages and in the shared program knowledge base.
- Give Marketing and Admissions Leadership regular feedback on lead quality, campaign messaging and recruitment materials.
- Stay current on labour market trends, career outcomes and program changes so your guidance is credible and up to date.
What you bring
- 4+ years of target-driven success in post-secondary or career college admissions, or in consultative, high-consideration sales where clients make a major financial or life decision (e.g., education and training, financial services, mortgage or insurance, or professional services).

Candidates from outside post-secondary must show a record of ethical, compliant selling and be ready to become a subject matter expert in admissions requirements and funding within their first 90 days.
- A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding enrollment, sales or conversion targets. Be ready to share your numbers.
- Experience mentoring or coaching peers, formally or informally.
- Strong discovery and listening skills. You ask the question behind the question, handle objections without pressure and adapt to people from many backgrounds, including newcomers, career changers and mature learners.
- Confidence discussing cost, student loans, grants and employer funding clearly and respectfully.
- Advanced CRM skills (Salesforce preferred), plus experience with automated outreach tools and video platforms.
- Close attention to detail and a firm commitment to compliance and accurate file management.
