Orthodontic Assistant: We’re Expanding Our Team

We’re expanding our team and looking for an orthodontic assistant to join us. If you’ve completed your orthodontic module, genuinely love working with people, and bring a cheerful attitude to work every day, we’d like to meet you. Orthodontic experience is a bonus, but we’ll train the right person.

We’re a busy, modern orthodontic practice in south Calgary providing braces, clear aligners and retainer care for children, teens and adults. Our team is supportive, our patients are great, and with our recent growth there’s real opportunity to build your career here.

The Role

- Assist the orthodontist chairside across a full range of treatment, including bonding, debonding, archwire changes and aligner appointments
- Take intraoral scans, photos and radiographs
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care and what to expect during treatment
- Keep appointments running on time and patient records accurate
- Help create a warm, welcoming experience from the moment patients arrive

About You

- You love working with people. You’re cheerful, positive and bring a great attitude to the clinic every day
- Registered dental assistant in good standing with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA), with the orthodontic module completed




- Previous orthodontic experience is an asset but not required; we’ll train you on our systems
- Gentle, confident manner with children, teens and anxious patients
- Strong communication skills and a genuine team-player attitude
- Reliable, organized and attentive to detail

What We Offer

- $28 to $40 per hour, depending on experience
- Consistent full time hours with no weekends: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:15 am to 3:45 pm; Wednesday 9:45 am to 6:15 pm (our one later day)

Please note: Must be willing to work at our satellite clinic in Okotoks every Thursday, plus 1 rotating Monday per month
