Position Overview

Klondike Cold Storage is hiring for multiple full-time warehouse positions across our K1 Langley and K2 Surrey facilities. We are looking for reliable, safety-focused individuals to join our growing operations team.

K1 – Langley

- Freezer Worker | Afternoon: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
- Dock Worker | Afternoon: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
- Inventory Associate | Day: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Freezer Worker | Graveyard: Sunday–Thursday, 9:30 PM–6:00 AM

K2 – Surrey

- Dock Worker | Afternoon: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Working Environment

All positions involve working in a temperature-controlled warehouse and operating powered warehouse equipment.

- Dock: Approximately -2°C to 4°C.
- Freezer: Approximately -20°C to -35°C, with additional wind chill from circulating fans.
- Inventory Associate: Primarily works within the freezer environment.

Key Responsibilities

Freezer Worker

- Pick, stage, organize, and move frozen products.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Maintain freezer organization and inventory accuracy.
- Assist with inventory control, including counting, labeling, and stock rotation.
- Follow all food safety, cold storage, and workplace safety procedures.

Dock Shipper/Receiver

- Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipments, product quantities, and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and secure dock area.

Inventory Associate

- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, shortages, and shipping issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Use Microsoft Office applications,



including Excel and Outlook, for inventory tracking, reporting, and communication.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred.
- Experience operating powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. Valid equipment certifications required.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights, including operating elevated equipment.
- Physically capable of safely lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling products as required.
- Comfortable working in freezer environments for extended periods, including temperatures as low as -35°C.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety, equipment operation,



and safe work practices.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Transportation – K1, Langley: Reliable transportation is required due to limited public transit options in the area.

Compensation: $23.61–$25.75 per hour

Overtime and statutory holiday pay provided in accordance with BC Employment Standards.
