313D Air Conditioning Mechanic & G2 Gas Technician

Air 1 Heating & Cooling is looking for a reliable, motivated technician to join our team serving Niagara Region and Stoney Creek.

Newly licensed applicants are welcome — no additional work experience is required.

Required Licences and Certifications

- Valid Ontario 313D Certificate of Qualification.
- Valid TSSA G2 Gas Technician certificate.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence — minimum G2.

Your Duties

- Install, maintain and repair residential air conditioning systems and heat pumps.
- Install, service and repair gas furnaces, water heaters, tankless water heaters and boilers within the scope of your G2 certification.
- Keep accurate service records and explain findings and repair recommendations to customers.
- Follow applicable safety requirements, manufacturer instructions and trade regulations.

Requirements

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, maintenance ability, and the capacity to interpret schematics are important for completing repair and troubleshooting duties. Preferred: Mechanic experience, along with skills or experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, HVAC, appliance repair, or construction, can support success in this diverse role.

Pay: $23.42-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
