Red Deer Child Care is hiring a support educators for the Out of School Care program. You will be working within the OSC team supporting children with cognitive, communication and various social emotional needs.
As a support, you will respond to the immediate needs of the child, as well as assisting them in participating in daily activities, routines, and connections with their peers.
Understanding of ADHD, ASD,ODD and awareness of child development are essential skills required. The ability to connect and problem solve with elementary age children would be beneficial.
This position requires a split shift Monday – Friday,
The exception is professional development days and holiday programming where more hours are required.
Job Types: Full-time and Part-time Opportunity
Pay: $18.81-$26.32 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 32.5 per week
