Job Summary

The First Cook prepares and cooks meals, supports food service, and helps maintain a clean, organized kitchen. This hands-on role contributes to a smooth service and enjoyable meals for customers.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and meals according to recipes, service needs, and established kitchen procedures.
- Cook dishes consistently, monitor preparation, and coordinate timing to support timely serving.
- Handle, store, and prepare food safely; keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
- Assist with meal preparation and food service, communicating with kitchen colleagues to keep service running smoothly.

Requirements

Required: Practical food preparation, cooking, food handling, and food safety capabilities are essential, along with the ability to follow kitchen procedures, maintain cleanliness, and work collaboratively during meal service. Preferred: Food service experience, including serving, and experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or the broader food industry are advantageous. Pay: $15.25-$22.00 per hour
