Queendom Cleaning Ltd. is looking to connect with experienced, reliable independent residential cleaners interested in taking on additional cleaning assignments.
This prospect is ideal for someone who already operates their own cleaning business and would like to supplement their existing client schedule without committing to regular weekly hours.
We are initially looking for subcontractors who can provide occasional fill-in coverage, with the possibility of additional assignments as opportunities arise.
How It Works
- Accept cleaning assignments based on your availability and interest.
- Take on one home, multiple homes in a week, or no assignments at all.
- No guaranteed minimum or maximum hours.
- Assignments will initially be offered on an as-needed, fill-in basis.
- No fixed-term commitment or obligation to accept future assignments.
- Once an assignment is accepted, we expect it to be completed as agreed. Failure to honour an accepted booking without reasonable cause may result in the termination of our subcontracting relationship.
Compensation
We offer two possible compensation arrangements:
- A mutually agreed hourly subcontractor rate.
- An agreed percentage of the client's cleaning service fee.
Compensation terms will be discussed and agreed upon before assignments begin.
Subcontractors must be able to submit invoices for completed services.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Operate as an independent cleaning business or self-employed cleaning professional.
- Have residential cleaning experience and demonstrate high-quality workmanship.
- Carry their own business liability insurance and provide proof of coverage.
- Supply their own eco-friendly,
non-toxic cleaning products and equipment suitable for residential cleaning.
- Have reliable transportation to cleaning assignments in Spruce Grove and Stony Plain.
- Be able to provide recent client reviews or professional references.
- Be able to invoice Queendom Cleaning Ltd. for completed services.
- Be willing to sign an independent subcontractor agreement, including confidentiality and client non-solicitation provisions.
- Communicate professionally and reliably regarding accepted assignments.
Important: Independent Contractor Opportunity
This is not an employee position.
Subcontractors operate their own independent businesses and are responsible for their own business expenses, insurance, taxes, equipment, supplies, and applicable registrations.
Payments will be subject to applicable CRA reporting requirements, including T4A reporting where required.
There are no employee benefits, vacation pay, or guaranteed hours.
The relationship is assignment-based, with no fixed contract term and no requirement to accept work when offered.
