Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our client's manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to accurately bend and shape metal components according to precise specifications. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict quality standards, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CNC machinery, and a keen eye for detail to contribute effectively to our production processes.

Responsibilities

- Operate press brake machines safely and efficiently to produce metal components as per detailed blueprints and technical drawings
- Set up and adjust CNC-controlled press brake equipment, ensuring proper tooling and machine calibration
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately to determine bending sequences
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments for precise measurement and quality inspection of finished parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members on machine setups, troubleshooting, and process improvements




- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with loading/unloading materials using cranes or forklifts as needed
- Support machining operations such as CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC programming, CNC lathe, milling machines, and welding when required
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Participate in assembly processes when necessary to complete finished products

Experience

- Proven experience operating press brake machines within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC lathe, and milling machines is highly desirable
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical principles, and basic math skills for precise measurements
- Experience with welding techniques and quality inspection procedures preferred
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices accurately
- Prior exposure to manufacturing safety standards and procedures
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
