An Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical projects from inception to completion. They play a crucial role in the successful execution of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, schedule creation, resource allocation, and risk assessments.Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.Technical Expertise: Possess a robust understanding of electrical principles, CSA Canadian Electrical Code and industry standards.Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project goals are met.Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet specifications.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and enforce safety protocols on the job site.Problem‑Solving: Identify and resolve project issues and challenges in a timely manner

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSExperience in the construction industry is preferred:
Construction Management5 years' experience in the electrical ICI sector combined with supervisory and/or superintendents' role
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTSContract managementConstruction scheduling, planning, and executionBusiness operations processesOrganization and time managementMust be able to obtain a Level II Secret ClearanceWilling and able to travel within NS
Intermediate user of:
ProcoreMS Office (Word, Excel, Project)JD Edwards or an Oracle-based ERP system would be an asset
