Job Summary

The Physiotherapist Assistant/Receptionist supports the smooth daily operation of a physiotherapy service by helping with patient care and reception tasks. This varied role combines courteous front-desk support, accurate administrative work, and practical assistance to the care team.

Duties

- Welcome patients, manage reception enquiries, and help coordinate appointments and clinic flow.
- Support physiotherapy staff with patient care tasks, following direction and established procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and handle information with care and discretion.
- Use medical terminology appropriately when communicating with patients and colleagues.

Skills

Required: Clear communication, organization, attention to detail, basic computer skills, and a patient-focused approach are important for handling reception responsibilities and supporting care activities. Preferred: Hospital experience, acute care experience, and familiarity with medical terminology can help you contribute confidently in a clinical setting and work effectively with patients and the care team.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 37.0 per week
