Job Summary

As a Barista/Customer Service team member, prepare and serve food and beverages while providing friendly, attentive service. Use POS systems to process orders and payments accurately, keep service moving during busy periods, and help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues. Our shop culture and community/customer experience is a TOP priority and we want to keep that in mind when finding the right person to join our team. Weekend availability is also a must.

Duties

- Welcome customers, answer questions, take orders, and provide genuine exceptional customer service.
- Prepare beverages and food, handle items safely, and follow food safety practices during food preparation and service.
- Operate POS or Micros POS systems, cashier orders, handle cash, and use basic math to verify transactions.
- Coordinate serving and daily tasks with the team, using time management to support smooth service.

Qualifications

Required: Practical customer service, communication, basic math, cashiering, cash handling, time management, food preparation, and safe food handling capabilities support accurate, dependable service. Preferred: Barista experience, food industry or food service experience, serving experience, and familiarity with POS or Micros POS systems are helpful strengths for contributing confidently to a busy service team.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
