Job Summary:

Hi there, we're Alto! We're an innovative online platform that connects caregivers with families seeking care for individuals with special needs, including both youth and adults. As a vetted caregiver, your role will involve providing personalized support, promoting independence, and creating a nurturing environment for individuals with unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide companionship and supportive care
- Drive to and from scheduled activities (must have your own reliable vehicle)
- Supervise and assist during swimming, including showering afterward
- Communicate clearly, speaking slowly and in clear English (a mild or neutral accent is preferred)
- Offer patient, respectful support with daily activities and personal care

Requirements:

- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks
- Experience working with individuals with developmental or communication differences is an asset
- Calm, patient, and attentive demeanor

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must have following qualifications:

- CPR/First-Aid certification from a Canadian-accredited institution





- Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (issued within the last three months)
