As a Swim Instructor, you’ll spend your days inspiring the next generation of swimmers. This role is active, adventurous, fun, and incredibly rewarding — perfect for people who love the water and working with kids.

Job Type: Part-Time and Full-Time

Location:
The River Club - 11111 Horseshoe Way, Richmond, BC V7A 4Y1

Hours:
Monday – Sunday | 5–40 hours per week

Pay:
$21.00–$26.00 per hour

Availability Requirement:
We are seeking candidates available during:

- Winnter Break Season:

- December 21 – Decemeber 24

- Decemeber 28 - December 31

- Winter Season:

- January 4 – March 14

Priority will be given to candidates available for BOTH Winter Break and Winter Season

Winter Break 2026 Available Shift Times:

- Monday to Thursday (Swim Camp, 4-day-in-a-row): 9:30am – 5:00pm

Winter Available Shift Times:

- Monday to Friday (Once a week lesson): 3:45pm – 8:45pm

- Saturday & Sunday (Once a week lesson): 8:00am – 8:30pm

Certifications & Requirements

- SWI – Swim Instructor

- Standard First Aid & CPR-C

- Assets (Nice to Have)

- NL Pool – National Lifeguard (Pool Option)

- LSI – Lifesaving Instructor

- - Additional certifications are an asset and may result in a higher starting wage

What to Expect in the Hiring Process

Application

Virtual Prescreen
A 30-minute virtual or in-person conversation with our regional hiring team to learn more about Pedalheads, the role, and to answer any questions you may have.

In-Person Interview (In-Pool Teaching Simulation)
A 45-minute interview at the pool location so you can see where you’ll be teaching and meet the team.

Offer
This is the part where we complete background checks, extend an offer, you accept — and we all celebrate
