Contract: 6 months with high potential for extensions or conversion to permanent

Rate: 40-44/hr

Shift Options:
Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM - 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 6:00 PM - 5:30 AM

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring Journeyperson Electricians for a major data center construction project in Nisku, Alberta. This is an prospect to join a highly respected global organization and contribute to a large-scale infrastructure build with significant long-term growth potential.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical installation experience, knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), and experience working with electrical panels and industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, and support electrical systems within a heavy industrial environment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Perform quality assurance and testing activities on electrical installations
- Work with electrical panels, power distribution equipment, and related systems
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and site safety requirements




- Collaborate with project teams to meet construction schedules and quality standards

Must-Have's

- Valid Alberta Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (required)
- Strong working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
- Several years of electrical experience within commercial, industrial, or construction environments
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical drawings
- Ability to pass a background check

Nice-to-Have's

- Red Seal Endorsement (preferred)
- Experience with industrial electrical systems, switchgear, or power distribution equipment
- Previous experience with Johnson Controls, Silent-Aire, Tyco, or similar organizations
- Experience supporting large-scale construction projects

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
