Senior Data Analyst – Investment & Wealth Data

The Opportunity

Seeking a hands-on Data Analyst with strong investment/wealth data expertise, advanced SQL, and proven end-to-end dashboard development experience to support data migration, integration, and BI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Independently design and build complex, interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, or similar tools.

Translate business requirements into KPIs, visualizations, and actionable insights.

Write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.

Perform data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and reconciliation.

Investigate data sources and reverse-engineer undocumented business logic.

Support data migration, integration, validation, and UAT.

Collaborate with Data Engineers and business stakeholders.

Must-Have Experience

✓ 5–9 years of Data/BI Analyst experience.

✓ Solid investment/wealth data knowledge (portfolios, holdings, transactions, securities, AUM).

✓ Investment/wealth experience preferably outside major Canadian banks.

✓ Advanced SQL and complex query development.

✓ Hands-on experience independently building complex dashboards from scratch,



not just maintaining or using existing reports.

✓ Dashboard development involving data modeling, multiple data sources, KPIs, interactive filters, and drill-downs.

✓ Data migration, mapping, profiling, and reconciliation experience.

✓ Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.

Snowflake • ETL/ELT • Git/Bitbucket

Who We Want to Meet

Candidates who can independently build sophisticated dashboards, write advanced SQL, and work with complex investment/wealth data.

Dashboard users or candidates with only dashboard maintenance experience will not meet the requirements.
