We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed 433A Industrial Millwright to join a manufacturing and maintenance team in Fergus, Ontario.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role involves responding to emergency breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and completing equipment repairs.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, welding experience, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple maintenance priorities.

Shift Premium: Approximately $10,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures involving industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and complete repairs based on operational priorities.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
- Repair and replace mechanical components, including gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and other machine parts.
- Perform welding and machine component repairs as required.
- Identify potential equipment issues and take corrective action to minimize downtime.
- Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs and parts used in the computerized maintenance system.
- Communicate maintenance updates and equipment concerns to supervisors and maintenance planners.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards.





Required Qualifications

- Valid 433A Industrial Millwright Certificate of Qualification.
- Solid mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
- Ability to repair mechanical components, including gearboxes, bearings, and shafts.
- Welding experience and ability to repair machine components.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize maintenance requirements.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.
