St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton seeks a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. The RN provides evidence-informed care, assesses health needs, and supports patients with complex needs, high acuity, and less predictable outcomes. Collaboration, leadership, and crisis intervention are central to this practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide patient-centred, evidence-informed emergency nursing care
- Assess needs and deliver supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative, or rehabilitative care
- Collaborate with the inter-qualified team
- Lead care and treatment for complex, high-acuity patients




- Work under medical directives after required education and evaluation

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Current BCLS/HCP certification
- Recent emergency nursing experience with adult, child, and psychiatric care
- Minimum three years of recent related general nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication, prioritization, critical thinking, and leadership skills
