The position answers questions from members, providers, travel agents, and general agents. You will explain health and travel coverage, support enrollment and billing inquiries, and direct customers appropriately. Success requires patience, flexibility, confidentiality, computer proficiency, and sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain plan coverage for health, dental, travel, and vision services
- Support travel agents with selling, extending, and refunding products
- Promote and sell Travel products to customers
- Process address changes, identification cards, and explanation of benefits
- Accept suggestions and complaints about Blue Cross services
Requirements:
- Commitment to exceptional service and customer-focused support
- Several years of professional direct service experience
- Strong relationship-building and active listening capabilities
- Ability to remain composed and skilled under pressure
- Second-language proficiency considered an asset
