About Us
Landon’s Tree Service is a local, hands-on tree care company. We take on removals, take-downs, and crane-assisted jobs that need skill and positive judgment. We’re looking for an experienced crane operator to join our crew and help us keep jobs safe, efficient, and done right.
What You’ll Do
- Operate our Magni telehandler/crane (and other lifting equipment as trained) to lift, hold, and place tree sections and materials
- Work closely with climbers and ground crew, using clear communication and hand signals or radio
- Set up and position equipment safely on varied job sites, including residential properties with tight access
- Complete daily equipment inspections and keep logs up to date
- Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues right away
- Help with groundwork, cleanup, and loading when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and make sure the site is safe before any lift
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience operating a crane, telehandler,
or similar lifting equipment (tree service experience is a big plus)
- Solid understanding of load limits, rigging basics, and site setup
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and do physical work
- Reliable, safety-minded, and good at working as part of a team
- Relevant certifications are an asset, such as crane or telehandler operator tickets, CPR/First Aid, or Working at Heights
