YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Salesperson will provide quick, friendly and knowledgeable service by actively responding to customer requests and needs. The ideal salesperson will have great industry knowledge and able to hit the sales floor running. The Salesperson will be trained to sell stock wood products, custom manufactured products, and special-order products to meet our clients’ needs. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

- Build relationships with contractors and other clients to promote recurring business
- Provide excellent customer service (greet, qualify, recommend, and close sales)
- Provide customers with expert advice regarding various wood products
- Answer the sales desk phone and email inquiries to respond to customer orders
- Process customer sales (quote, order, take payment, coordinate logistics)
- Ensure the store and sales desk are kept neat and tidy
- Other tasks as required

WHAT YOU NEED

- Sales Experience in a B2B or retail environment
- A willingness to be trained
- Professional approach and presence
- Positive attitude – take initiative and have a positive outlook
- Outstanding English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to use Windows and Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook
- Ability to speak French is considered an asset
- Industry knowledge and previous sales experience are considered assets
- High school diploma essential; College diploma/university degree is considered an asset

JOB DETAILS

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year, plus Bonus structure
Schedule: 42.5 hours a week, over 5 days, with Sundays guaranteed off
Location: 515 Days Rd., Kingston, Ontario.
