Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging workplace for children in St Albert. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with young children, including those with special needs. This role involves supervising children, facilitating developmental activities, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor children in a safe and caring environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap times
- Foster positive social interactions among children
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare area
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs
- Follow all safety protocols and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment for children

Skills

- Level 2 or 3 Certificate Required




- Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Strong teaching skills to facilitate engaging activities that support developmental milestones
- Caregiving abilities, including patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in childcare settings
