Back alley Bistro / deli is seeking a team member to support daily kitchen and food service operations. You’ll help prepare meals, serve guests, and maintain a clean, organized work area while contributing to a welcoming dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and meals, following kitchen procedures and food safety practices.
- Support cooking and food preparation, keeping workstations and utensils clean and orderly.
- Serve food courteously, assist with customer requests, and help keep service moving smoothly.
- Handle food carefully and coordinate with colleagues to maintain an effective kitchen and service area.
Your impact: Attentive preparation and service help guests enjoy their meals and enable colleagues to work effectively.
Experience
Required: Practical cooking, meal preparation, food preparation, serving, and food handling capabilities, with care for food safety and cleanliness. Preferred: Restaurant, kitchen, food service, or broader food industry experience, along with familiarity with the pace and teamwork of a bistro or deli.
Pay: $15.35-$25.66 per hour
Expected hours: 60.0 per week
Experience:
- Bartending: 2 years (preferred)
