The Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator supports warehouse distribution by handling incoming and outgoing goods, fulfilling orders, and keeping inventory information accurate. This hands-on role combines shipping and receiving, order picking, packaging, and safe movement of materials using warehouse equipment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and record shipments; prepare outgoing orders and maintain accurate transaction details in the warehouse management system.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for fulfillment, including e-commerce orders, checking quantities and packaging for accuracy.
- Operate a forklift and, where applicable, a reach truck or order picker to load and unload materials and move stock safely.
- Timely order handling helps colleagues keep shipments moving and customers receive the right goods.
Qualifications
Required: Practical ability to handle shipping and receiving, order picking, packaging, load and unload tasks, basic math, and accurate warehouse system entries. Preferred: Warehouse experience and familiarity with forklift, reach truck, order picker, warehouse management systems, warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, or e-commerce operations.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
