Overview
We are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable Grinding & Shot Blast Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for grinding, cleaning, and finishing metal beams and parts while operating grinding tools and shot blast equipment.

Shift: 7 am to 3 pm
Pay: $23/ hour

Key Responsibilities

- Grind and clean metal beams and fabricated metal parts.
- Lift and move heavy metal beams weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Operate angle grinders and die grinders to remove rough edges, weld splatter, and imperfections.
- Place metal parts into the shot blast machine and operate the equipment.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow workplace safety procedures when handling heavy materials and operating machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.




- Assist with other general shop duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience in metal grinding, fabrication, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience using angle grinders and die grinders is an asset.
- Experience operating shot blast equipment is an asset.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
