Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our busy general dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a robust attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health.

Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.

Qualifications





- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Familiarity with Abeldent is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is required.

Enjoy a 4 day work week with just one Saturday a month (none in the summer!)
