HQ Energy | Field-Based

HQ Energy is a growing residential solar company helping homeowners explore cleaner energy and take control of their electricity costs. We’re looking for a driven, hands-on Marketing Manager to recruit, train, and lead a local door-to-door appointment-setting team.

This role is for someone who enjoys sales, develops people, and leads by example. You’ll work in the field alongside your team, start conversations with homeowners, and book qualified solar consultations for HQ’s closing team.

What You’ll Do

- Recruit and build a team of door-to-door marketing representatives.
- Train reps on approaching homeowners, communicating clearly, handling objections, and booking qualified appointments.
- Lead regular field sessions, team meetings, and individual coaching.
- Set clear goals and hold your team accountable for activity, appointment quality, and results.
- Plan canvassing areas and coordinate daily field activity.
- Track leads, appointments, and follow-ups accurately in our CRM.
- Work with our closing team to improve appointment attendance and lead quality.
- Represent HQ Energy professionally and follow company standards and applicable canvassing rules.
- Continue generating your own appointments while developing your team.





Who We’re Looking For

- Experience in door-to-door sales, direct marketing, or field sales.
- Previous leadership, recruiting, or training experience is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with homeowners.
- Someone who is organized, dependable, competitive, and comfortable giving constructive feedback.
- A hands-on leader who can demonstrate the work they expect from others.
- Willingness to walk outdoors and work evenings and weekends when homeowners are available.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence.

Solar experience is an asset, but it isn’t required. We value work ethic, coachability, and a track record of following through.

Pay: $49,600.00-$112,000.00 per year
