As a Security Guard , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of patrons while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Monitor the entrance and exit points to ensure that only authorized individuals gain access to the venue.
- Conduct thorough checks of bags and personal items as needed to prevent prohibited items from entering.
- Maintain order within the establishment by addressing disruptive behavior promptly and effectively.
- Utilize surveillance techniques, including CCTV monitoring, to identify potential security threats or disturbances.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to handle serious incidents.
- Provide assistance during emergencies,
ensuring the safety of all guests and staff members.
- Enforce venue policies and regulations consistently while maintaining a friendly demeanor towards patrons.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention is preferred.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to de-escalate conflicts effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the venue's schedule.
- A valid security license may be required based on local regulations.
