This is a self-employed independent contractor opportunity. It is not a salaried position, an employee payroll position, or a guaranteed 40-hour workweek.

Zen Cleans offers residential cleaning assignments as client bookings become available. Contractors may accept or decline assignments based on their availability and service area. The number of assignments will vary, and no minimum number of weekly hours is guaranteed.

This chance is best suited to an established professional cleaner who already operates independently and wants to add bookings to their existing schedule.

The opportunity

Zen Cleans is expanding its network of experienced residential cleaning contractors.

Available assignments may include:

- Recurring residential cleaning
- Deep cleaning
- Move-in and move-out cleaning
- Other residential cleaning services requested by clients

The location, scope, expected duration and applicable contractor rate will be communicated before an assignment is accepted.

Contractor requirements

To be considered, you must:

- Have at least two years of paid professional residential cleaning experience
- Currently work, or be prepared to operate, as a self-employed independent contractor
- Carry at least CA$1 million in Commercial General Liability insurance
- Provide proof of active insurance before receiving your first assignment




- Own and maintain all cleaning supplies and professional equipment required to complete assignments
- Have a valid driver’s licence and dependable transportation
- Be legally entitled to provide self-employed services in Canada
- Be able to work independently and communicate professionally with clients
- Be responsible for your own transportation, business expenses and tax obligations

What we expect

Contractors are expected to:

- Complete the agreed cleaning scope to a professional standard
- Use their professional judgment, techniques and products to achieve the required results
- Arrive within the time agreed for an accepted assignment
- Communicate promptly about access issues, delays or client concerns
- Protect clients’ homes and belongings
- Correct any verified deficiencies for which they are responsible
- Maintain reliable communication by phone or text
