Our team is looking for a Business Analyst (D365 Business Central) specializing in the retail industry, with deep expertise in LS Retail solutions and knowledge of Shopify (an asset). In this role, you will play a strategic part in transforming business processes and optimizing technology solutions. Your future duties and responsibilities
- Analyze retail business processes, including point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, replenishment, promotions, loyalty programs, e-commerce, and omnichannel operations
- Lead functional and solution design by creating integrated functional architectures across Business Central, LS Retail, and Shopify (an asset), ensuring a seamless and consistent customer experience across all channels
- Model current-state and future-state processes (AS IS / TO BE) to identify efficiency gains, improve inventory management, and optimize supply chain operations
- Design omnichannel solutions that enable data synchronization (products, pricing, inventory, customers) between ERP, POS, and e-commerce platforms
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure implementations align with business requirements
- Contribute to the overall solution architecture, including integrations (APIs, middleware), performance optimization, and security in cloud environments
- Support end users through training, user support, and change management initiatives within a digital transformation context
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst
- Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within a retail environment
- Significant experience with LS Retail, including POS, merchandising, and store operations
- Knowledge of Shopify and e-commerce challenges (integration, catalog management, order processing) is considered a strong asset
- Strong understanding of retail industry challenges, particularly omnichannel operations and customer experience
- Excellent ability to design integrated, scalable, and performance-driven solutions
- Solid analytical skills and the ability to optimize business processes
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and Marketing
- Experience with complex promotions, loyalty programs, and dynamic pricing strategies
- Knowledge of omnichannel retail flows (Click & Collect, e-commerce, etc.)
- Knowledge of Shopify will be considered an asset
- Experience with multi-store and/or multi-warehouse environments
- Understanding of integrations, including APIs and OData
- Hands-on experience writing functional specifications
- Excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written) and functional English

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 70 000$ et 135 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
