Transbest Global Logistic Inc., operating under B&J; Global Inc., is a growing logistics and freight forwarding company based in Mississauga, Ontario.

We provide international freight forwarding, cross-border transportation, warehousing, and supply chain solutions to businesses across North America.

We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Freight Forwarding Operations Manager to lead our freight forwarding operations, develop customer relationships, and support the continued growth of our logistics business.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in international freight forwarding, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage daily operations while identifying opportunities for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Freight Forwarding Operations Management

- Oversee daily international freight forwarding operations, including ocean freight, air freight, and cross-border transportation.
- Manage import and export shipments from booking through final delivery.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and overseas agents.
- Ensure shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, and customer escalations.

2. Team Leadership & Management

- Supervise and support the freight forwarding operations team.
- Assign responsibilities, monitor daily workflows, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Establish and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.




- Work closely with internal sales, warehouse, and accounting departments.

3. Customer Relationship & Business Development

- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and logistics partners.
- Support the sales team with freight quotations, transportation solutions, and customer inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to expand freight forwarding services and grow the customer base.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers, agents, and service providers.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and long-term customer satisfaction.

4. Cost Control & Operational Improvement

- Monitor freight costs, shipment profitability, and operational performance.
- Review quotations, transportation charges, and vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Improve operational processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in international freight forwarding, logistics operations, or a closely related field.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in freight forwarding is strongly preferred.
- Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken).




- Strong knowledge of ocean freight, air freight, import/export procedures, and international shipping documentation.
- Familiarity with customs clearance procedures, Incoterms, carrier coordination, and freight pricing.
- Ability to independently manage shipments, resolve operational issues, and supervise a team.
- Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with freight forwarding management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Existing relationships with freight carriers, overseas agents, or logistics service providers.
- Experience in Canada–U.S Canada-China. cross-border logistics.
- Experience in freight forwarding business development, client account management, or carrier rate negotiation.
- Experience implementing operational improvements and managing team performance.
