We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Holiday Inn Express & Candlewood Suites West Edmonton.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone looking for flexible work in a fast-paced hotel environment. The position is casual, with shifts available based on hotel occupancy and business needs. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize guest rooms
- Restock housekeeping supplies as needed
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost and found items to the appropriate department
- Follow all hotel cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with guests
- Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment

Qualifications

- Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset,



but training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing/pulling cleaning equipment
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
