Overview

The Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper supports smooth daily kitchen operations by keeping work areas, equipment, and service items clean and organized. This hands-on role contributes to timely meal preparation and dependable food service for guests and the kitchen team.

Duties

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and food preparation equipment; return clean items to their proper places.
- Assist with meal preparation and food preparation by washing, peeling, portioning, and organizing ingredients as directed.
- Maintain clean workstations, floors, and storage areas, and follow protected food handling and food safety practices.
- Support cooking and serving tasks as needed, restock supplies, and communicate kitchen needs to coworkers.

Requirements

Required: Practical ability to follow instructions, maintain cleanliness, handle food safely, and work cooperatively in a busy kitchen. Attention to detail and readiness to assist with routine kitchen tasks support consistent food service. Preferred: Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or food service experience, along with familiarity with cooking, serving, meal preparation, food preparation, food handling, food safety, or the food industry.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
