Overview

The Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper supports daily kitchen operations by keeping dishes, tools, and work areas clean and helping prepare and serve meals. This hands-on role contributes to an organized, efficient food service environment and helps the team provide timely service.

Duties

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment; return clean items to their proper places.
- Clean and maintain kitchen work areas, floors, and surfaces, following food safety and food handling practices.
- Assist with meal preparation and food preparation, including organizing ingredients and completing basic kitchen tasks.
- Support cooking and serving activities as directed, and help keep supplies and service areas orderly.

Qualifications

Required:



Practical ability to follow food safety and food handling procedures, maintain cleanliness, and assist with food preparation and meal preparation. Attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork support secure, steady kitchen operations. Preferred: Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, food service experience, or familiarity with the food industry, cooking, or serving. Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
