Operate industrial vacuum equipment for GFL while delivering hydro excavation and fluid hauling services safely and professionally. Work independently and communicate effectively.
As a Class 1 Vacuum Truck Operator, you will support GFL’s Vacuum Truck Services team. The work includes hydro excavating, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading or hauling fluids and materials. Safety, environmental compliance, teamwork, and client service guide daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vacuum equipment in industrial settings
- Complete equipment pre-trips and required driver logs
- Maintain accurate documentation for completed work
- Provide professional service and represent GFL
- Participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 license with Air Brakes
- Fairly clean Commercial Drivers Abstract
- At least six months’ industrial vacuum truck experience
- Ability to operate manual transmission
- Flexible availability for wide-ranging shifts
