Support a child’s emotional regulation and social skills as an Intervention Support Worker at Muin Ji’j Center in an after-school setting.

Under the Muin Ji’j Center Coordinator, this fixed-term position provides one-on-one intervention within an integrated service team. You will implement strengths-based, child-centered, family-directed programs and support the child’s inclusion. The work begins November 2026 and runs for one year.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise, guide, and assist the child during daily activities
- Provide one-on-one intervention supporting the child’s full inclusion
- Plan and implement curriculum-related indoor and outdoor activities
- Review goals and progress quarterly with families and service resources




- Submit quarterly progress reports to the Jordan’s Principle team

Requirements:

- College diploma in Early Childhood Education or Educational Assistant
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Mandatory ASD training and current First Aid and CPR
- Experience with children with special needs or willingness to train
- Ability to complete observation forms and summarize child needs
