Position Details
This is a permanent part-time prospect offering ongoing casual shifts throughout the year.
Scheduling is based on business needs, and weekly shifts are not guaranteed.
Training is also provided before your first shift!
Schedule:
+ Thursday & Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
+ Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Promote products and offer samples to shoppers in local grocery stores
+ Share key product information and answer customer questions
+ Meet sampling targets while delivering engaging customer interactions
+ Prepare simple food and beverage samples (e.g., coffee, desserts)
+ Maintain a clean and organized sampling station (set up, maintain, and tear down)
+ Complete reporting after each shift
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Must be available Thursday-Sunday
+ Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
+ Ability to confidently approach consumers and communicate with people while delivering key product messaging
+ Ability to stand for the length of your shift (approximately 6 hours) and assist with the setup and teardown of the sampling station (all materials stored on-site)
+ Access to a smartphone with photo capabilities and internet to complete reporting
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work independently and represent brands professionally in a retail environment
+ Access to a vehicle and being a driver is preferred.
+ Liquor certification is an asset
+ Food Safety certification is an asset
