Fiber Technicians Needed Mackenzie, BC

Were looking for experienced Fiber Technicians for a long-term project in Mackenzie, BC .

This is an advanced troubleshooting role focused on OTDR testing, identifying fiber failures, and completing repairs/remediation .

Candidates must be comfortable independently diagnosing issues rather than simply following installation instructions.

Requirements:

+ 3+ years of fiber troubleshooting experience
+ Strong OTDR testing and trace-reading skills
+ Experience diagnosing fiber breaks, high loss, reflectance, bad splices, connector issues, and bend loss
+ Experience with power meters, light sources, VFLs, and fiber inspection scopes
+ Strong independent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

Shift Options:

+ 7:00 AM5:00 PM
+ 3:00 PM1:00 AM
+ 11:00 PM9:00 AM

Assets: CSTS, copper experience, and experience with racks, cabling, power, or cooling systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $52.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
