Do you love swimming and working with children? We are looking for a Deck Ambassador who enjoys working with people of all ages, who is enthusiastic, fun, and loves aquatics!

At British Swim School we strive to teach safe and fun lessons for all ages! We are a team of people who want to help save lives one step at a time through our amazing program! As a British Swim School Deck Ambassador, you will help us achieve this goal!

Roles and Responsibilities

· Reports to the Aquatics Manager and Franchise Owner

· Communicates with parents, swimmers, and staff

· Make sure the deck and lessons are running smoothly

· Set up the pool deck to British Swim School Standards before lessons start

· Clean up the pool deck once lessons are done

· Learn British Swim School teaching methods and procedures

· Be the lifeguard on deck

· Act professionally and appropriately to emergency situations

· Teach British Swim School swim lessons by following British swim school lesson plans

· Builds solid relationships with existing customers

· Manages attendance

Qualifications:





· National Lifeguard Certificate

· Standard First Aid with CPR-C Certificate

· Customer service experience

· Caring and compassionate for children and adults

· A good listener and problem solver

· Must be 16 years old or older

Hourly Pay:

- $18- $20/ hour

Availability:

- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 4:00pm-7:00pm

- Weekends 9am-2pm

- Flexible Schedule

About Us:

Since 1981, British Swim School has focused on teaching water survival skills to children as young as three months old and working towards stroke development and endurance. We want to help children fall in love with the sport of swimming to help prevent the continuing of drownings. As drownings are the leading cause of accidental deaths in children ages 1-4 years old.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
