About the role

Billyard Insurance Group, located in Brampton, ON, is looking for an Insurance Broker to join our team and serve personal and commercial clients.

Duties

- Advise clients on their insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage (auto, home, tenant, commercial, and related lines)
- Obtain quotes from insurers and prepare insurance applications and policy documents
- Explain policy terms, coverage, exclusions, and premiums to clients
- Process renewals, endorsements, changes, and cancellations
- Assist clients with claims submissions and follow up with insurers




- Maintain accurate client records and meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain client relationships and follow up with prospective clients

Requirements

- Secondary school diploma.
- Valid Level 1 General Insurance Licence from the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance sales or brokerage
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Working knowledge of brokerage software such as Applied Rating Services, Power Broker Management System, Precision X, Guidewire, Pace, Path Systems and Microsoft Office, etc.
