About Sgambelluri Law

Sgambelluri Law is a new boutique law firm in the Niagara Region built around a simple idea: exceptional legal work does not require an old-school law firm environment.

We are building a modern, client-focused practice where professionalism, personality and culture can coexist. We take our work and our clients seriously, while creating a workplace that is collaborative, approachable and genuinely enjoyable to be part of.

As we build our team for our January 2027 opening, we are looking for a Junior Associate Lawyer who wants more than simply a desk and a docket.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a lawyer with experience or a strong interest in:

- Real Estate Law
- Corporate/Commercial Law
- Wills & Estates

Ideally, you will have a few years of post-call experience and be comfortable taking increasing responsibility for your own matters and client relationships.

This is an opportunity to join a boutique firm at the beginning and help shape the practice, culture and client experience as we grow.

The right candidate will work directly with the firm's principal, Lana Sgambelluri, and will have the opportunity for meaningful mentorship, hands-on experience and skilled growth.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally:

- Be a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, or eligible to practise law in Ontario;




- Have approximately 1–5 years of post-call experience, although strong candidates outside this range are encouraged to apply;
- Have experience in, or a genuine interest in developing a practice involving, real estate, corporate/commercial law and/or wills and estates;
- Have excellent drafting, organizational and file-management skills;
- Be practical, responsive and solutions-oriented;
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a smaller firm environment; and
- Value both high-quality legal work and a positive workplace culture.
