We are looking for a knowledgeable, motivated and sales-driven Wellness Department Supervisor to take ownership of our Wellness department and help us grow!

About the Role

This is a hands-on position combining natural health product knowledge, retail sales, purchasing and department management.

You will be responsible for the daily operations and performance of the Wellness department, working closely with store ownership to improve sales, introduce new products and create an exceptional customer experience.

We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes initiative and genuinely enjoys helping people.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

- Provide knowledgeable, friendly and personalized customer service.
- Recommend vitamins, supplements and natural health products based on customer needs.
- Actively promote products, build customer relationships and drive sales.
- Stay informed about natural health products, brands and industry trends.

Purchasing & Department Operations

- Manage purchasing, inventory levels and product selection for the Wellness department.
- Receive orders, verify shipments, process invoices and communicate with suppliers.
- Monitor expiration dates, pricing, stock levels and product rotation.
- Maintain an organized, well-stocked and visually appealing department.

Sales Performance & Growth

- Track sales, purchasing trends,



bestsellers and slow-moving products.
- Identify opportunities to grow sales, improve profitability and expand product selection.
- Coordinate promotions, product demonstrations and vendor initiatives.
- Provide regular department updates, reports and recommendations to store ownership.

Teamwork & Store Support

- Train and educate other staff members on Wellness products.
- Participate in staff and supervisor meetings.
- Assist with cash register coverage, staff breaks and general store operations when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Our top priorities are strong product knowledge, wellness retail experience and excellent sales skills.

- Strong knowledge of vitamins, supplements and natural health products.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a natural health or supplement store.
- Excellent sales, communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with purchasing, inventory management or retail operations.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proactive, reliable and motivated to grow the department.
- Comfortable using POS systems, computers and sales reports.

Assets:

- Education or certification in holistic nutrition, natural health or a related field.
- Previous department supervisory or purchasing experience.
- Knowledge of Canadian natural health brands and suppliers.

Schedule & Working Conditions

- Full-time hourly position, 30+ hours per week.
- Availability for day and evening shifts, with one weekend day required.
- A consistent, permanent weekly schedule will be established based on the successful candidate's availability and store needs.
- Flexibility to assist with occasional shift coverage when needed.
- Employees receive a 30-minute paid meal break for shifts longer than 5 consecutive hours, as a company benefit.
