Primary Areas of Responsibility

- Plan, schedule, and manage daily production operations to maximize efficiency, control costs, and maintain profitability.
- Manage inventory control and ensure a consistent supply of materials to meet production requirements.
- Oversee purchasing of raw materials, hardware, components, and manufacturing supplies.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality materials, and reliable delivery.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, with all purchase orders requiring General Manager approval before being placed.
- Monitor purchasing costs, review supplier invoices, and coordinate with accounting to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain production and productivity reports.
- Manage, mentor, hire, and train production employees to maintain high-quality manufacturing standards.




- Evaluate employee performance and motivate staff to achieve maximum productivity.
- Oversee manufacturing equipment, tooling, maintenance, and operational improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing workplace.

Skills and Qualifications

- Must have experience in custom manufacturing and assembly within the window or door industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage production employees.
- Experience in purchasing, supplier negotiations, and inventory management.
- Mechanically and technically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Highly energetic with a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent time management, production planning, and scheduling skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient computer skills.

Experience Required

Minimum 5 years in a management role in the window and door manufacturing industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
