About Us

Aria Integrated Care is a growing private practice providing speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioural services to children and families across Greater Vancouver.

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to oversee client care and supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants delivering in-home therapy in Surrey and Langley.

This role is primarily focused on clinical supervision, with opportunities to provide individual assessments and one-to-one therapy if desired.

About the Role

You will work closely with assigned SLPAs to develop individualised treatment plans, review client progress, and support effective implementation during home-based sessions.

There are no fixed weekly hours. Visits and meetings will be arranged collaboratively around client needs, family availability, and your schedule. Supervision is anticipated approximately monthly for assigned clients, with frequency adjusted according to clinical needs, assistant experience, and applicable professional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess clients and determine their suitability for SLPA-supported intervention.
- Develop functional, individualised goals and clear treatment plans.

- Join SLPAs during in-home sessions to observe clients, review progress, demonstrate strategies, and provide coaching.
- Identify tasks appropriate for delegation and ensure assistants understand how to implement them.
- Adjust goals, activities, and support levels as clients’ needs change.
- Remain available for agreed clinical consultation between supervision visits.
- Communicate with families and collaborate with other providers when appropriate.
- Maintain timely assessments, supervision notes, treatment plans, and progress documentation.
- Provide direct assessments or one-to-one therapy where mutually agreed.

What We’re Looking For

- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC, authorising practice as an SLP.
- Experience providing paediatric speech-language assessment and intervention.
- Previous experience supervising SLPAs or other therapy assistants.
- Confidence developing treatment plans and coaching assistants through practical demonstrations and constructive feedback.
- Robust clinical judgement regarding delegation, supervision, and when direct SLP involvement is needed.
- A collaborative,

family-centred approach that respects each child’s communication style, interests, and support needs.
- Strong communication, organisation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes in Surrey and Langley.
- Professional liability insurance.

Experience with autism, AAC, early language development, and a range of developmental communication needs would be an asset. Familiarity with Jane App is also helpful.

What We Offer

- A flexible caseload without fixed weekly shifts.
- Opportunities to focus on supervision while maintaining direct clinical involvement.
- Collaboration with SLPAs and an interdisciplinary therapy team.
- Administrative support with scheduling and coordination.
- Opportunities to take on additional assessment or therapy clients according to your interests and availability.
