Kootenay Industries is looking for an experienced Pipefitter for day shift. (Assembly)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Must have experience reading and interpreting isometric drawings.
- Knowledge of material grades.
- Working with both stainless and carbon steel
- Thread pipes
- Read P&ID; drawings
- Install spools into packages (bolted and threaded)
- Set vessels and equipment on skid
- Hydro testing
- Use of overhead crane
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Participate in safety and company programs
- Follow work practices and procedures
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIANCE
- Journeyman trade certificate
- Active apprenticeship
- 2+ years of experience in a fabrication shop required
- Working with stainless steel is an asset
- Fabricate threaded ISO's
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
