Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Flooring Finisher / Crew Lead with strong hands-on experience in epoxy/resin flooring, self-leveling, floor flattening, surface preparation, grinding, and concrete polishing.

This is a senior, hands-on position for an experienced flooring professional who can independently manage work from preparation through final cleanup and provide direction to a small crew when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform epoxy/resin flooring installations, including surface preparation, repairs, priming, mixing, flake systems, broadcast systems, and topcoats.
- Perform self-leveling applications, including checking floor elevations, identifying high and low areas, grinding, patching, priming, mixing, pouring, and finishing leveling materials.
- Perform floor flattening and surface preparation to achieve required floor elevations and project specifications.
- Operate grinders, hand grinders, industrial vacuums/dust extractors, mixers, and other flooring equipment.
- Perform concrete polishing, including grinding, edging, repairs, densifying, polishing, sealing, and finishing.
- Read and follow project specifications, measurements, and product instructions.
- Plan work sequences and organize daily site activities.
- Assign tasks and provide direction to helpers or crew members.
- Monitor work quality, productivity, and job progress.
- Identify and communicate site conditions, material shortages, equipment issues, or scope changes.
- Complete final quality checks, cleanup, and proper storage of tools and materials.
- Maintain flooring equipment,



tools, and company vehicles when required.

Requirements

- Solid hands-on experience with epoxy/resin flooring.
- Direct experience with self-leveling and floor leveling applications is required.
- Strong knowledge of floor preparation, grinding, mixing, pouring, and finishing leveling materials.
- Ability to check floor elevations and identify high/low areas using appropriate tools.
- Concrete polishing experience is an asset.
- Previous Crew Lead, Foreman, or Site Lead experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle.
- Willingness to travel to different jobsites throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario.
- Must have appropriate PPE, including safety footwear, hard hat, gloves, knee pads, and required respiratory protection.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and commitment to quality and safety.

This is NOT an entry-level position. Candidates must already have practical flooring experience and be capable of performing skilled work independently.
