The General Helper supports day-to-day warehouse distribution by assisting with order picking, shipping and receiving, and moving materials safely. This hands-on role helps keep goods flowing and supports colleagues in completing orders accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare orders using an order picker and warehouse management system; check items and records for accuracy.
- Load and unload deliveries, assist with shipping and receiving, and organize materials for distribution.
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment as assigned, following secure work practices.
- Perform heavy lifting and general support tasks; apply mechanical knowledge to help maintain an orderly work area.
Qualifications
Driver License is a requirement!
Required:
Practical ability to follow instructions, handle materials safely, perform heavy lifting, and support loading, unloading, and order picking. Preferred: Warehouse experience, including warehouse distribution, shipping and receiving, or use of a warehouse management system; mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and familiarity with order pickers, forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or other heavy equipment are advantageous. Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
