About Sonny Can’t Dance

Sonny Can’t Dance is a modern steakhouse bringing together elevated dining, exceptional cocktails, and a lively, energetic atmosphere in the heart of Toronto.

We are looking for experienced, passionate, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our growing Front of House team.

Our ideal candidates are confident, professional, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are building a team that takes pride in delivering memorable guest experiences while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace.

Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional, attentive, and personalized service to every guest.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and menu offerings.
- Confidently guide guests through the menu, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
- Manage multiple tables while maintaining service standards and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and management teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and polished dining room throughout service.
- Work collaboratively with the entire team to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and proactively.
- Follow all restaurant policies, service procedures, and responsible alcohol service requirements.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong food, wine,



and cocktail knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first mentality.
- Smart Serve certification required.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
