Overview

The part-time Liquor Store Sales Associate welcomes customers, supports product selection, and helps keep the store organized and ready for business. You’ll provide attentive service, process purchases accurately, and contribute to a smooth shopping experience.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers, answer product questions, and recommend suitable options while using clear communication and professional phone etiquette.
- Demonstrate products and use sales and upselling skills to support customer choices.
- Operate POS systems, handle cash, complete transactions, and apply basic math accurately.
- Restock and merchandise products, maintain organized displays, and coordinate with colleagues to keep the store running smoothly.

What we’re looking for

- 18 years of age or older
- ProServe Liquor Staff certification (or willing to get it before your first shift)
- Retail or cashier experience is an asset, not required
- Friendly, reliable and comfortable talking with customers
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift
- Interest in wine, beer or spirits is a big plus

Skills

Required: Customer service, retail sales, cashiering, POS operation, cash handling, basic math, communication, time management, and organizational skills support accurate transactions and helpful service. Preferred: Technical sales experience, technology sales, product demos, merchandising strengths, and bilingual or multilingual abilities, including English, can help you serve a wider range of customers. Your impact: Helpful recommendations and accurate checkout make shopping easier for customers and support dependable teamwork.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
