Job Overview

The Home Childcare Provider supports children’s daily care, learning, and well-being in a home setting. This role combines attentive caregiving with meal preparation, cooking, and household cleaning related to children’s care. A warm, patient approach helps create a safe, engaging routine that supports children and gives families dependable assistance. Someone who can speak Punjabi/Hindi will be a bonus, however all qualifying individuals are welcome to apply.

Duties

- Provide attentive caregiving and supervise children during daily routines and activities.
- Prepare meals and snacks, including cooking as appropriate, while maintaining a clean, organized environment.
- Support children’s learning through age-appropriate teaching, indoor play, outdoor time when weather permits and encouragement.




- Adapt care and activities to children’s individual needs.

Qualifications

Required: Practical caregiving skills, patience, transparent communication, and the ability to prepare meals, cook, clean, and support children’s learning and daily needs. Preferred: Experience working with children, first aid certification is preferred, along with strengths in adapting care to individual needs and creating positive, engaging routines.

Pay: $15.00-$21.00 per hour
